NEN battles hard but loses game 2 to Omaha Gross 6-3 in the district finals. A terrific season comes to an end for the Vipers. Good luck to Gross Catholic at state this upcoming week.
Gross & NEN Softball teams and fans participate in a Down Syndrome awareness walk at the field for team Noah Jacobsen, the Gross Catholic coach’s son between game 1&2! They missed the walk in Omaha for today’s game so coaches and players surprised the family!
In a back and forth game the Vipers give up 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th and fall short to Omaha Goss 7-4. Game 2 will begin in 30 minutes.
Good luck to our NEN Vipers today as they travel to Omaha Gross for district Softball!
