Transportation Director - Pender Public Schools
The Pender Public School District is seeking applications for the position of Transportation Director. This 12-month position offers competitive pay and benefits including health/dental insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, and paid leave. Along with coordinating transportation needs for the District, this position is also assigned some maintenance and custodial tasks.
Interested candidates should complete an application and submit it to the District Office at Door #4. The application can be accessed on the District’s website, picked up in person at the school, or electronically if requested. To access it on the District’s website, go to www.penderschools.org, click on "School Forms" under the “Documents” button and select “Application for Employment”. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.d
The Vipers go 1 & 1 today in sub district Softball. Dropping game 1 to Crete and bouncing back to beat Schuyler. They will play in an elimination game against Wayne tomorrow at noon!
The EHC volleyball tournament bracket has been released. It looks like Pender plays
H/LHF in Clarkson at 6:00 pm on Thursday Oct 15th. The bracket is attached. Stay tuned for specific Covid related restrictions .
The East Husker Conference Honor Choir Clinic and Concert scheduled for Monday, November 9 has been postponed to a date to be determined. Students selected through the audition process will be recognized and awarded their EHC Honor Choir Certificate as planned.
Best of luck today to our girls golf team and our softball team as they compete in District competition! Golf begins at 9am at FairPlay in Norfolk. Softball begins at 2:00 pm in Wayne vs Crete. GOOD LUCK LADIES!!!
We couldn’t find a junior high football team to fill in for Homer, so there will not be a junior high football game today.
Picture day is here! Elementary picture day - Monday, October 5th. JH & HS picture day - Tuesday, October 6th. High school students that will be gone on Tuesday, October 6th for FFA will have pictures taken on Monday, October 5th.
