This week’s “Who’s Who in Pender Public Schools” is sure to stump you all. You’re going to have to problem solve and bring your “A” game for this one.
This “pumper upper”:) went to high school in Wakefield, Nebraska . I find it very interesting that he overcame this rivalry and became a Pendragon. He was involved in football, basketball, track, choir, swing choir, school musical, and speech. This “most wanted’s” favorite memory as a child was enjoying the atmosphere when playing sports. He continued his education at Wayne State College where he played football. After that, he started teaching at Allen, and went on to work in the oil field for a company called Halliburton. His job was a Drilling Fluids Engineer or a Mud Engineer, so he made sure the fluid sent down into the hole he was working on, met the right specifications. Finally, he came here and has taught for 6 years.
Here comes the interesting part, if he could have any job in the world it would be a NFL long snapper because he gets to be in the NFL, paid good money and it wouldn’t be hard on his body. He also likes to go on a vacation where there isn’t cell phone reception and where he’s in the middle of the outdoors.
His interests outside of school are a variety of different activities during different times of the year. He enjoys going golfing, fishing, and hunting. When he is not enjoying those hobbies, his wife watches HGTV fixer upper, so he gets to fix up the house just like she pictures it.
Well, that’s all I have for this edition of “Who’s Who in Pender Public Schools.” I sure hope that I made it a challenge to figure this one out.
