Time for another Who's Who. Number 17 was Mrs. Von Seggern, now on to #18.
We are back with a “ Who’s Who”. This is going to be a real trickster, so you better be prepared to use your detective skills.
This staff member has worked here for 4 years. Everyday when you walk into the school, you see this staff member. Make sure you say, “Good morning” back because her biggest pet peeve is if you don’t respond. You might see her walking in a hall with a student or students too.
Before her job in PPS, she worked at McDonald’s in high school and also during college. After graduating, she went to be a dental assistant for 10 years. WOW, that is a lot of mouths to be looking in! This person even owned the Pender Bowling Alley for 4 years. She must be a pro bowler now. This staff member also had a home daycare for 10 years. I sure would of loved that job. Today, she is a paraprofessional.
This staff member’s educational career includes attending Western Iowa Tech in the Dental Assisting program. In high school, she was involved in basketball, track, and choir. I wonder if she is still a good singer today. I might have to find out myself!
This “Who’s Who” interests outside of school are very interesting. She likes camping and ice fishing with her family. This staff member also enjoys doing projects with her husband along with watching her children in their activities. Talking about doing things outside of school, this “Who’s Who’s” favorite vacation is going camping. Her family camps in Jackson, Nebraska by the Missouri river. While camping there, they like to sit by the campfire, fish, boat, and watch the wild life.
